Tell us what topics you think the Overview & Scrutiny Committee should consider this year

What do we want to know:

On 14 March, the Overview and Scrutiny committee will meet to consider the draft work programme for their next working year, which begins in May. Once approved, this will be presented at Full Council and will form the basis of issues discussed and reviewed by the committee throughout the coming year.

We want to hear from residents who wish to put forward items for review or discussion to the Council’s Overview & Scrutiny Committee or one of its panels.

Description:

Scrutiny ensures that decision-making processes are clear and accessible to the public and that the people making decisions are held accountable to them.

Good scrutiny also ensures that there are opportunities for the public to influence and improve the services they receive.

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee and its Scrutiny Panels examine the work of the Cabinet and hold it to account in order to help the Royal Borough of Greenwich deliver its community vision.

Its job is to support our departments in maintaining high service delivery standards, and to steer them towards improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Outcome:

This consultation started on 07 February 2022 and finished on 04 March 2022
