To consult with local residents and businesses on the proposed local safety scheme for Trafalgar Road. Take part by reading the attached document and commenting by email.
A consultation package consisting of consultation document, questionnaire and return envelope was distributed to 827 residents and businesses in the vicinity of the proposed scheme. A total of 100 questionnaires were returned from those residents and businesses that were within the consultation area, which is a return rate of 12.1%. The results of the consultation are as follows: In favour of the scheme 68 (68%) Not in favour of the scheme 29 (29%) Did not give an opinion 3 (3%) The outcome of the consultation will be considered by the Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Enterprise & Skills and will be used to inform the decision on whether or not to implement the scheme.
The aim of this consultation is to consult with all Environment Champions who have signed up to the Environment Champion Scheme since its launch in 2009. It will provide details on how individual Environment Champions want to volunteer their time.
