Housing Estate Parking Notice of Making December 2023

What do we want to know:

This is the Statutory process for amending the Housing Estate Traffic Management Order made in February 2021

Residents are asked for any objections about the process.

Plans are available for review electronically or by emailing estate-parking@royalgreenwich.gov.uk for a copy of any plans to be sent to you.

Any comments can also be made by email estate-parking@royalgreenwich.gov,uk 

The Order will come into force on 13 December 2023

Royal Greenwich hereby give notice of making of the Greenwich (Housing Estate Road and Car Park) (Amendment No1) Order 80 2023 to include additional schemes and restrictions.

The schemes and the restrictions are:

New permit schemes

Permits schemes enable the council to help retain housing car parking areas solely for the use of the residents. Residents will be able to purchase a residents permit at £57 a year or £4.75 a month and where there is capacity visitor permits at £3.50 for 10 half day vouchers or £7 for 20 half day vouchers managed by the council's online permit system Permit Smarti. Disability and Carers permits would be availble free of charge subject to criteria.

New 'line only' restrictions

These schemes do not require residents to have a permit however enable the council to enforce restricted areas which will ensure emergency vehicle access to the estates.

New green space protection

These schemes are intended to protect green spaces which are not intended parking of any description.
