Moorings Forum Neighbourhood Plan

What do we want to know:

Moorings Neighbourhood Forum (MNF) has applied to the Royal Borough of Greenwich, as the Local Planning Authority, to be designated as a Qualifying Body for the purposes of neighbourhood planning.

Neighbourhood planning is a process intended to give local residents more say in the planning of their neighbourhoods. It is a government initiative that was introduced under the Localism Act (2011).

Description:

Under the terms of Schedule 9 of the Localism Act (2011), the Royal Borough must make a determination as to whether or not to designate Moorings Neighbourhood Forum as a Qualifying Body for the purposes of neighbourhood planning. Please note that only one organisation may be designated as a Qualifying Body for an area and that this organisation should be truly representative of the population that lives and works in that area. As a result, the Royal Borough is soliciting feedback on the suitability of this organisation to be designated and on the suitability of the propsed area boundary. MNF's draft constitution is available to download at the bottom of this page; please visit this page to view a detailed map of the MNF boundary:
