Draft Street Trading Policy

What do we want to know:

Description:

Have your say on the Draft Street Trading Policy

We are proposing to update our Street Trading Policy to help better manage street trading in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We’re asking residents, businesses and anyone else who might be affected to share their thoughts on the Draft Street Trading Policy by Friday 25 August at 11.59pm.

The draft policy sets out the Council’s approach to:

  • Street trading licenses

  • Pavement and Forecourt trading licenses

  • Trading via ice cream vans

Please view the Draft Street Trading Policy document below and send your comments by email to street-trading@royalgreenwich.gov.uk

The proposed policy aims to provide a clear, consistent service for users, balancing the needs of street traders with those of residents, workers, shoppers, visitors and anyone else using the streets.

All comments received by Friday 25 August will be considered by the Council.

Outcome:

This consultation started on 20 July 2023 and finished on 25 August 2023
