Third Sector Commissioning consultation
What do we want to know:
To seek the views of the third sector on the Council's draft commissioning framework for 2011-14.
Description:
By completing the
online questionnaire and through partcipation in the
programme of events. The consulation questionnaire is targeted at third sector organisations - the programme of events is open to both organisations and users.
Additionally, third sector organisations can also feed back their views via the Greenwich Action for Voluntary Services (GAVS) - call 0208 858 1363 or email for more information.
Summary of results: On 16th February 2010, Cabinet approved the Draft Third Sector Commissioning Framework and instructed Officers to commence consultation with the Third Sector on its plans. Members also agreed the overall implementation timetable for the period leading up to the commencement of new services and funding arrangements from 1st April 2011.
The consultation with the Third Sector commenced on 10th March 2010 and ended 21st May 2010. The results of the consultation are set out in a report 'Outcomes of Consultation: Draft Third Sector Commissioning Framework 2011-2014, which can be requested from the Community Support Team, Department of Culture and Community (0208 921 6372) or via e-mail @ 3rdsectorcommissioning@greenwich.gov.uk
