Handyperson and Home Improvement Agency service consultation
What do we want to know:
To guage the potential impact of charging to cover the cost of providing the Handyperson service and some Home Improvement Agency services in future.
Description:
The Council will be using a questionnaire to interview people at its community events. Additionally it will be meeting with agencies that refer users to the service to guage their views. It will also consult users through a consultative group.
Outcome:
The outcome of this consultation has been included in an Equality Impact Assessment.
The final report has been drafted and will accompany a Cabinet report regarding the proposed changes. This is to be considered by Members in January 2011
