Middle Park Avenue 20 mph Zone Review
What do we want to know:
Greenwich Council is proposing to review the existing 20 mph zone in the MIddle Park Avenue area.
The 20 mph zone was introduced to improve road safety. Together with Transport for London, we have assessed the rate of accidents over the past three years. As a result, TfL have agreed to fund further improvements aimed at reducing accident rates still further.
We also need to change some of the existing road humps as they do not meet current regulations.
The additional features are manly located in Middle Park Avenue and Kingsground.
Please note we may need to restrict on-street parking close to some of the proposed features in order to maintain traffic flows.
Description:
People who live or work in the area are invited to comment on the scheme.
An information leaflet with survey form has been sent to each address in a defined number of streets. Recipients can fill in the enclosed survey or complete it online.
An exhibtion of the proposals will be running between 16 - 18 December at the Vista Field Outreach Centre, 14 Newmarket Green, Eltham SE9 5ER. Please contact 020 8921 5580 for opening times.
