Introducing an Assistive Technology Enabled Care (ATEC) service in the Royal Borough of Greenwich

What do we want to know:

We want your views about our proposals to introduce a new Assistive Technology Enabled Care (ATEC) service as part of the social care and NHS offer in Royal Greenwich. We want to use the best of technology to help people stay independent for longer; increase their wellbeing, independence and confidence, whilst providing support for carers and loved ones.

Description:

Our plans have been co-designed with residents and staff over the last 18 months. The next stage of the process is to run a formal consultation and invite further views from people living in, or supporting people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

For information on our resident design group, please see our dedicated page on the website: https://www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/assistivetechnology

Through the introduction of an ATEC service, we aim to enable people to stay independent for longer, and improve how care is delivered in Royal Greenwich by integrating the best of digital care technology with our social care services and over time, some health services.
