The main changes proposed:
- Move to a Thursday-Sunday out-of-hours service operating between 4pm-2am (this reflects the actual demand on the service with 64% of calls recorded on a Friday or Saturday. It is also less reliant on overtime and more financially sustainable.
- Use our recently introduced 'Noise App' to support residents outside of the proposed out-of-hours service, to report issues and submit recordings for service follow up. Office hours will be covered Monday to Friday.
- Consider additional planned or proactive evening visits should they be required for exceptional cases outside of the revised ‘out of hours’ provision.
